Microbiological Testing

The guarantor for your hygienically flawless products

Microbiological testing of foodstuffs and drinking water is carried out in accordance with the Official Test Methods pursuant to Section 64 of the German Food and Feed Code (LFGB) and the Drinking Water Ordinance. The basis for the scope of parameters is, among others, Regulation (EC) No. 2073/2005 on microbiological criteria for foodstuffs, recommendations of the German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology (DGHM) and the Drinking Water Ordinance.

Food & Feed

Microbiological testing of food/feed is the guarantor of perfect hygienic product quality. State-of-the-art methods such as MALDI-TOF (MS) allow rapid and reliable identification of microorganisms.

Operational Hygiene Control

In the operational environment, hygiene controls such as sampling of surfaces and air serve as a useful supplement to internal quality assurance measures (HACCP).

Water

In Germany, the quality of drinking water must meet the requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance and thus be free of pathogens, fit for human consumption and pure. For drinking water, there are currently no detailed legal requirements but only generally formulated safety requirements or orientation values for the suitability of drinking water.
