Our diagnostic lab routinely covers a wide range of mainly species specific serological tests and methods. The serological analyses inform about the pathogen specific antibody status of the affected flock.
Information on the antibody status is useful when checking the vaccine take, evaluating the infection status or determining the perfect vaccination date. Other serological methods are, for example, used as follow up tests for positive serological results (i.e. from an ELISA screening) in order to further match them with sero- or pathotypes of pathogens.
