Pathology

Post-mortem examinations are a crucial part of diagnostics. Therefore our lab operates its own internal pathology.

Our trained staff performs the necropsies and our veterinarians examine and assess all animals that were sent in.

Diseased animals, carcasses or organs should be send to the lab as fast as possible. If longer transport times are necessary, the specimens should be kept cool.

Sample Delivery

We accept samples send in for necropsies from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Outside these times, necropsies can be conducted by individual appointment, including weekends.

The written test results are sent out immediately after all tests have been finished either by e-mail or fax, depending on your preferences.

Earlier results can be communicated by phone.
